The Combat Revue World Games (世界華撃団大戦 Sekai Kagekidan Taisen?) is a event that was first introduced in New Sakura Wars. The event is described as a ''festival of peace'' where Combat Revues from around the world gather to compete in dramatics and battles.

Background[]

After the Combat Revues were revealed into the public since the Great Demon War, the World Luxury Operatic Federation established a biennial worldwide tournament event. All the Combat Revues from all over the globe gather to compete with each other in both fighting and acting technicalities. Each Revue selects 3 members to participate in the rounds.

The tournament's purpose is to display the fruits of each Revue's training and to show all of their efforts to keep the world safe.

History[]

New Sakura Wars[]

Chapter 1 : Winds of Change[]

In 1940, the tournament is introduced as the 3rd Biennial Games 10 years after the events of the Great Demon War. A few days before the beginning of the competition, Sumire Kanzaki tells Seijuro Kamiyama, the newly appointed Captain of the Imperial Combat Revue's Flower Division that she intends for the Flower Division to win the competition and revive the Imperial Combat Revue which is in a pitiful state.

Trials[]

According to Clarissa Snowflake, there are two types of trials in the tournament : theatrical events that test the Revues' ability to soothe people's souls and combat events that gauge the Revues' ability to protect people.
