In 1930, two years after Nobunaga's attack on New York City, a worldwide conflict occurs when Demons attack the world alongside the Archdemon, an unknown powerful entity. When things became dire, an alliance formed between the Revues that were active at the time: the Imperial Combat Revue's Flower Division, the Paris Combat Revue's Fleur Division and the New York Combat Revue's Star Division.
The three Revues joined together in an operation known as Operation Twin Capitals. They have enlisted the help of swordsmith Tekkan Amamiya to forge a unique artifact known as the Imperial Sword. Tekkan's wife, Hinata, wielded the sword to create an alternative version of Tokyo known as Shadow Tokyo at the cost of her life in the Battle of Tokyo. To prevent the demon from escaping, the three Revues choose to seal themselves away alongside the beast to end the war bring peace to the world.
Legacy[]
The events of the Great Demon War has caused many effects to the world. The lost of three Revues has caused the creation of the World Luxury Operatic Federation (WLOF). The organization consists of many international division which led to the creation of new Revues around the world while also becoming public knowledge. The federation was led by President G who, to no one's knowledge, was actually Sotetsu Genan, a Demon working to revive the Archdemon.
The events also caused many people and families to mourn loved ones that were lost during the war. Hinata Amamiya's daughter, Sakura, grew up without knowing the actual circumstances behind her mother's demise for the sake of the world. Anastasia Palma, who was a child back then, lost her parents when they were killed by other humans under the presumption of being allies with Demons. This has led her to join Genan in his plans to avenge her parents. Sumire Kanzaki, who has retired from the Flower Division and was not part of Operation Twin Capitals, became the Commander of the next incarnation of the Imperial Combat Revue's Flower Division. However, the former actress hides her sorrow for losing her friends while she was the only one left behind.
While the departure of the three Revues and the Archdemon's defeat has led to world peace, some people such as Sakura has started to doubt if the actions of the alliance truly succeeded as Demons have started to reappear in 1940. Clarissa Snowflake, one of the New Imperial Combat Revue members, also expressed some feelings about how the Revues of the alliance had a great life that was taken away from them because of the war.
