Lobelia Carlini (ロベリア・カルリーニ Roberia Karurīni) is a member of the first generation Paris Combat Revue's Fleur Division.

Appearance[]

Lobelia is a young woman with short, unkempt, white hair, and light blue eyes. Lobelia almost always has on a pair of broken silver circle rim glasses and a green bandana slightly above her hairline. She typically wears a brown chocker with a golden lock on it, a dark green buttoned up trench coat with gold buttons, and brown gauntlets with a silver chain attached to the right one. She also wears black pants and dark brown boots.

Personality[]

Given the title as "the flame demon" by the public, Lobelia was considered the number one public enemy by law enforcers, due to her role as a professional thief. Police were unable to apprehend her, until she was captured by Paris assault agents headed by the vice commander. Once arrested, Lobelia was given the choice to serve a prison sentence of one thousand years or join the Fleur Division by Isabel Lilac.

Personality wise, Lobelia is someone very distinct from the Paris Flower Division as she is harsh, rude, blunt, easily aggressive and extremely competitive, who never loses a chance to insult the others. Lobelia is also very alcoholic, and strongly loves getting money(From thiefing or from doing the "missions" alongside her partners).

She tends to give "moral" lessons to Ogami behind her rude words(Which depending of the player, Ogami can understand what she means behind the rude words, causing her to trust Ogami more). She has a troublesome friendship relationship with Erica Fontaine, because of her friendly antics, but acknowledges that Erica is the first person who did care for her, despite her criminal behavior. Not the same thing with the short-tempered member Glycine although, they have the very same oil-and-water (Mostly like a One-Thousand-Days War) relationship as Sumire and Kanna, but much like them, they can put their differences aside for the sake of their captain and friends.

Despite her brute, harsh and rude behavior, Lobelia is actually a person who deeply cares for poor people and her comrades in her own ways, sometimes even swallowing her pride in sake of protecting her friends(Especially Erica). In her ending she means that she can be finally considered pure and worthy again, meaning that the days with the Paris Flower Division comrades changed her heart at point that she, by her own decision, surrendered to the police to live the last few months remaining to complete her prison sentence and finally appreciating freedom and a reborn moment for her own life;

Background[]

Born from a Romanian father and an Italian mother shaman, Lobelia was persecuted all her life as one of the "Vampiritstic clan". She lived a wandering gipsy life after losing her parents, and began her criminal life until she was feared all over Europe as a notorious pyro criminal. From daily pickpockets to gambling, Lobelia committed much at whatever means necessary to enjoy life and alcohol, except for murder.

She was arrested on May 5, 1924 by the Paris authorities, heavily sentenced for 1000 years, and held into a special prison underneath the La Santé Prison as Prisoner 192455631. But Grand-Mère took an interest in the "pyrodemon"'s powers and compensated Lobelia's sentence to have her join the Combat Revue.

Thus joining Le Chattes Noires, her identity as concealed under the stage name "Safir (サフィール)", where "La bohème (ラ・ボヘミエンヌ)" became her star performance to which it reflects part of her folk background.
