Rin Shiranui (不知火りん) is a member of Imperial Combat Revue's Kyuushu Flower Division in the game Sakura Revolution.

Personality[]
A lone wolf maiden who hates to flock with people. She is fighting alone with the current government to maintain the justice she believes in. She thinks she can't get anyone involved in her fight because she's lived independently of others.
Background[]
Shiranui Rin, who grew up in New York with her soldier father, learnt how to handle firearms and a free and independent mentality from a young age.
"Snipers use their target's bond with their peers/friends to shoot them"
She values her sniper father's teachings and fights alone without making friends. That is so she is strong, without weak spots.
When she hears that Kouki attacked her mother's home of Kumamoto, she returns to Japan to fight the by herself.

Etymology[]
- The name Rin is written in hiragana (りん), which has no special meaning. However, when written in kanji (凛), it could possibly mean "dignified, severe, cold".
- Rin's surname Shiranui means "phosphorescent light" (不知火).
- Phosphorescence is relating to a type of light that glows softly in the dark and that does not produce heat.
