Shino Sakura (咲良 しの Sakura Shino) is the main protagonist of the Sakura Revolution game.
Appearance[]
Like most of the previous Sakura Wars main heroines, Shino is just an average-size teenager wearing taisho-style kiminos while during normal life.
But during missions, she wears a new style of the Imperial Revue uniform with the hotpink color theme.
Personality[]
Like Shino's predecessors, she is a super cheerful girl while portrayed as a klutz but her switch turns on when she fights displaying her immense spiritual strength.
Character Profile[]
Born in Aogashima of the Izu Islands, Shino is an innocent yet naive girl raised by former Imperial Troupe star Kirin Aoshima while being the biological daughter of Kirin's coequal, Nadeshiko Sakura. She spent most of her life watching recorded stageplays of her mothers' primetime with her childhood friends, Fuuka Aoshima and Asebi Mikohama. Shino dreams' begin to unravel as a young stranger crash-lands on the island.
Spiricle Dresses[]
The Kouka Type-1 "Junpu A1A1" (光華一式［純風］Type-A1A1) is the first Spiricle Dress worn by Shino as the default unit. It was a transmogrification of an Koubu Spiricle Armor relic owned by Nadeshiko Sakura, which became the prototype for future dresses customised for new troupe members in the game's storyline.

Etymology[]
- The name Shino is written in hiragana (しの), which has no special meaning. However, when written in kanji (篠, 志乃, 詩乃, 紫乃, 史乃, 信乃, 志野, 詩野, 紫野, 史野 or 信野), it could possibly mean:
- 篠 - "dwarf bamboo".
- 志乃 - "will, purpose" (志) (shi) and "from" (乃) (no).
- 詩乃 - "poetry, poem" (詩) (shi) and "from" (乃) (no).
- 紫乃 - "purple, violet" (紫) (shi) and "from" (乃) (no).
