Valery Kaminski is the main antagonist of New Sakura Wars the Animation. By manipulating the human-demon hybrid Leyla M. Ruzhkova, Kaminski destroyed the Moscow Combat Revue by attacking their airship and replaced the group with his own Revue, which is made of demons in disguise. Kaminski then sets his eyes on Leyla's younger sister Klara and intents to use her powers to reshape the world, leading him in conflict with Sakura Amamiya and the Imperial Combat Revue's Flower Division.

Appearance[]

Kamiski has the appearance of a handsome Russian young man with short blond hair.

He is wearing a white shirt underneath a long-sleeved crimson adorned with golden motifs. He is also wearing a golden sleeveless robe with motifs along with black striped pants with gold patterns at the edge of his pants. Kaminski also has a black top hat, white shoes and a black cane.

In his semi-crystallized form, Kaminski has blue crystal-like things appearing on his skin. After fusing with Sevastopol, Kaminski takes the form of a giant golem-like monster with massive arms and cable-like appendages growing on his back.

Personality[]

Kaminski looks like a charming young gentleman who appears to have respect for others but is actually a sinister and calculating man who aims to destroy and rule the world. During his travels, Kaminski has seen the world and mankind in a negative light as he considered mankind to be selfish and destructive. His perception of a corrupted world has fueled a desire of ''saving'' the world through destruction. To that end, he easily destroyed the Moscow Combat Revue without any sign of compassion and placed his own puppet inside the WLOF for the sake of his plans.

Kaminski is also manipulative as he charmed Leyla into becoming his henchwoman and joining him in his plans (while also using some form of brainwashing). He also says he cares for Klara's well-being but is only after her for her powers showing that he only sees his followers as tools. After Klara has awakened her powers, Kaminski has developed, much to Leyla's disappointment, a disturbing obsession in Klara which results in him calling her his ''angel'' and ''messenger of God''. It is revealed that he always had an obsession for Klara ever since he met her during Natalia's project as she always had more potential than her sister.

Background[]

On June 30, 1908, Kaminski was walking in a forest in the Eastern Siberian Taiga when he saw a massive meteor falling from the sky. The young man was almost killed by the object, revealed as a crystallized rock, which left a crater. Near death, Kaminski sees a angelic figure, which he described as a ''godly figure'', emerge from the rock before flying away. After the mysterious figure left, Kaminski walked over to the rock and touched it which causes him to absorb the rock's properties and powers as well as becoming immortal.

Now immortal, Kaminski went to travel the world only to learn that mankind has become greedy, horrible and destructive with their actions causing warfare and destruction. Believing the world has become corrupted, Kaminski aimed to destroy the world and rebuild it in his own image while taking it will be ''saved''. To that end, Kaminski found out about a secret project led by Natalia Ruzhkova which aimed to create human and demon hybrid beings known as Nadezhda and infiltrated it by posing as a volunteer. During his infiltration, Kaminski approached one of the project's subjects called Leyla and charmed her into joining him to get access to her powers. Kaminski then caused the downfall of the project and aimed his sights at Leyla's younger Klara.

However, Natalia escaped with Klara and contacted the WLOF who sent the Moscow Combat Revue to protect Klara. To prevent that, Kaminski makes an attack on the Moscow Combat Revue by destroying their airship. The attack kills all members of the Revue and causes Klara, who was nearby, to lose her memories. Intending to get Klara for her powers, Kaminski sends Leyla and Black Cape, a robot he created, to capture Klara. It is revealed by Seijuro that Kaminski has planted one of his mechanical puppets as the director of the WLOF after the Genan Incident in 1940.

History[]

New Sakura Wars the Animation[]

Episode 2 : Identity Unknown! A Mysterious Foe Appears[]

In 1941, Kaminski first appears in the skies of Tokyo aboard his massive airship, the Sevastopol. He announces that he and his group are the Moscow Combat Revue, who were said to have disappeared a week ago in an incident.

Episode 3 : Tokyo Trembles! The New Moscow Combat Revue![]

After revealing the identity of his group as the Moscow Combat Revue, Kaminski appears outside the Sevastopol and gently falls down the sky with his umbrella. Landing outside the Imperial Theater, Kaminski meets the members of the Imperial Combat Revue's Flower Division who came outside to see who the group was. Telling the group not to be alarmed by his ominous arrival, Kaminski politely introduces himself as the Captain of the Moscow Combat Revue while giving Sakura, who he calls ''fairest maiden'', a rose.

Kaminski gets in the Dining Hall alongside his comrades. He sits down with Kaoru Rindou while the Flower Division and Klara watch. Kaminski comments on the tea while asking his hosts if they have any jam. While Kaoru says they don't, Kaminski says that the tastes of Russian people are probably too refined. Sakura then asks Kaminski about the conflicting reports that the Moscow Combat Revue was taken down in an attack. Kaminski tells the Flower Division that he and his Revue were about to welcome a new member in the outskirts of Petrograd as part of a task given to them by the WLOF until their airship was attacked by an unknown adversary. He mentions that while the entire Revue survived the attack, they will forever be carrying burdens and be scarred by horrible burn injuries, forcing them to wear long black coats and metal helmets. However, he says that because of the attack, the group was able to revive from their ashes like a phoenix as the ''New Moscow Combat Revue''. Kaoru says that she's relieved that Kaminski's group are safe but asks what is the purpose of their visit. He states they have come as part of a family matter.

Right after he spoke, one of the Moscow Combat Revue members, who is revealed to be called Leyla, steps forward and takes off her coat and mask, revealing herself as a beautiful silver-haired young woman. The woman approaches Klara and tells her to come along but Klara does not seem to remember her, much to Leyla's shock. Kaoru tells Kaminski that Klara doesn't remember anything from her past and that while her amnesia could be temporary, they can't be certain. However, Kaminski says that it does not matter and that his Revue will personaly take care of Klara's recovery as she's one of their own. Klara is again approached by Leyla who keeps telling her to come back but the young girl is terrified. Leyla is stopped by Sakura and Hatsuho who angrily says that she does not like the idea of returning an amnesiac defenceless Klara. The other members of the Flower Division agree with Hatsuho that they will never give a terrified child to strangers but Leyla responds by saying they will take Klara by force if necessary. Hatsuho provokes Leyla but the other girl's right eye glows red granting her unknown strength to tighten Hatsuho's fist. Klara can only watch in fear until Kaminski tells Leyla to stop as Revues are made to fight demons and not others. Kaminski insists the Flower Division to give Klara back but Sakura tells him that they were ordered by their Captain, Seijuro Kamiyama, to watch over Klara and they will keep her until further notice or news from him. Kaminski then asks where Seijuro is and when will he return. Even though Kaoru says that he's currently on a mission in Europe and that the date of his return is unknown, Kaminski still insists for Klara's return.

Sumire unexpectly enters the room asking what is happening. Kaminski, surprised to see a legendary performer of the Imperial Combat Revue, stands up and calls her the heroic woman of Tokyo. The young man creates a full rose bouquet with Azami noting that he only gave one single rose to Sakura (Anastasia says it's because Sakura is not as famous as her Commander). When Sumire asks what this is, Kaminski says that Sumire's beauty could thaw the coldest heart while noting the cold tundra possibly froze his. Wanting to give some thanks of her own, Sumire brings Kaminski to her office where they both discuss about Klara.

The former actress notes that it must have taken time for the Moscow Combat Revue to find Klara's whereabouts as they have went through many things but notes she cannot bend to Kaminski's demands much to the young man's surprise. Sumire says that while she's the Commander, her hands are tied up as it was Captain Seijuro Kamiyama who ordered the Flower Division to watch over Klara and that the young girl will remain with them under Kamiyama's orders. Kaminski says that he will forcibly request Klara's return under a sanction's decree. He says that an official injonction will not take too much time and that they will meet again. After his meeting with Sumire, Kaminski leaves the theater with Leyla and his group with a worried Klara watching.

Back at the Sevastopol, Kaminski tells Leyla that her sister continues to stir the pot. The young man says that the current situation is a temporary delay and that Klara's place is by his side and nowhere else. He notes that it will be only a matter of time before they can take her back and when that happens, their dream will be realized. Leyla asks Kaminski if he was speaking truthfully with Sumire about waiting to retrieve Klara and if it was a wise choice. Kaminski says he's in no hurry and that patience is not about the wait but the attitude.

When Tokyo is being invaded by another demon, Kaminski contacts the Flower Division during their battle asking them if they desire assistance as their airship is located not far from their current location. Hatsuho talks back by refusing, saying that if it is discovered that they had to rely on another Combat Revue for assistance, it will not do any favors to the Flower Division's reputation. Kaminski replies by saying that such thing in not important in times of crisis and turns over to Sakura to leave her to make the choice as Captain. Sakura refuses saying they do not need any help. Kaminski understands the decision and tells Sakura the Moscow Combat Revue will remain in standby in case they should mobilize. When the Flower Division got overwhelmed by the monster, Kaminski ordered Leyla and his Revue to save the group. The Moscow Combat Revue easily destroys the demon and humiliates the Flower Division in the process, with Kaminski watching from afar with an ominous smile.

After the battle ended, Kaminski and Leyla approach the Flower Division who are on the bridge watching Hatsuho's Kobu getting carried away by Reiji. Kaminski taunts the Flower Division by noting that the mighty have fallen. Unamused, Sumire asks the young man what he wants. Kaminski looks at Klara and warns Sumire that demons will keep appearing in Tokyo as long as Klara remains in the city. He says that his Revue may not be there to help the Flower Division the next time demons appear. Both he and Leyla leave the scene, leaving the Flower Division stand silently as Hatsuho screams to the heavens in frustration for her actions.

Episode 5 : The Goofball Detective Combo! Find Klara's Secret![]

Kaminski comes to the Theater to have a meeting with Sumire Kanzaki on whether Klara will be returned to them. Before going to Sumire's office, Kaminski drops on top of the Theater to fin Klara who was taking care of a stray kitten. Klara tries to shield the kitten but Kaminski says that he will not harm an innocent creature. He then comments on the remarkable view and goes on to tell Klara about ''Mother Earth'' and her huge potential all around them which makes Azami and Clarissa, who were hidden nearby, suspicious. Kaminski then leaves the scene saying that he's late for another appointment.

Kaminski arrives in Sumire's office where the Commander what brings him today. Kaminski says that Klara's presence could be felt in his Revue and wonders if he could appeal to Sumire's good nature. Sumire says that while she admires his resolve, no decision has been made by the WLOF. Kaminski says that while he understands, the stalemate they have reached is vexing. He then tells Sumire he came to make her an offer which intrigues the former actress.

Episode 6 : Strange and Bizarre! The True Identity of Black Cape![]

Kaminski is seen dancing in the Sevastopol when Leyla approaches him. Leyla asks her Captain if she's interrupting. Kaminski lends his hand to Leyla inviting her to dance. As they're dancing, Leyla tells Kaminski that Klara has exited the Imperial Theater alongside Sakura and a person they never saw before. The mention of the latter attracts Kaminski's attention.

Kaminski sends Black Cape to capture Klara as she goes to an orphanage alongside her friends. By using Black Cape's camera view, Kaminski sees Hakushuu and recognizes her as the godly figure he saw falling from the sky a long time ago.

After witnessing Black Cape's destruction, Klara remembered the destruction of the Moscow Combat Revue which causes her to scream in horror. After watching the young girl on the screen, Kaminski embraces Leyla who was visibly troubled by Klara's pain. The young man asks Leyla if she still sides with him after seeing her sister in pain. Leyla replies that she remains loyal to Kaminski in body and soul. Kaminski says that hearing that makes him happy.

Later at night, Kaminski is dancing when he recalls about how he was close to death near the crater left by a crystallized rock that fell from the sky. He also recalls a female figure, which he refers to as a god, emerging from the crystal before flying away in the sky. Kaminski spitefully calls the godly figure a ''false god'' and says that the world does not need her barren hope as it is too late for her to save the world. Kaminski then laughs like a maniac.

Episode 7 : Stealth Mission! Tail the Date![]

Aboard the Sevastopol, Kaminski is looking at pictures of Seijuro was has recently returned to Tokyo from his mission in Europe. He is approached by Leyla who tells him they have received an encrypted message from their spy at the WLOF. He says that the time for waiting is finally over as he tells the young woman to prepare for the next phase of their plan.

The next day, Kaminski watches as Seijuro, Sakura and Klara are exiting the Imperial Theater early in the morning. Kaminski suggests that he and Leyla disguise themselves to follow Seijuro, Sakura and Klara as they go on a date together.

As they're walking down the street, Kaminski and Leyla are accidently bumped into by Sakura, Klara and Seijuro who were holding hands as they were trying to escape their unknown followers. Not recognizing the pair, Sakura apologizes to the two as they keep running. Leyla asks her Captain if they have been found out with Kaminski replying it cannot be as their disguises are the ''height of perfection''.

As they keep spying, Kaminski and Leyla see Sakura and Klara running near an alleyway and decide to pursue them. While running after them, the two pass by Itsuki Saijou and Hiromi Hongou of the Moon Division who were spying on Seijuro's trio alongside the Flower Division. Itsuki asks her comrade if they have seen those people before.

After Seijuro's trio gets in a ferry, the Flower Division and the Moon Division are too late to get onboard. However, Kaminski and Leyla run and attempt to catch the boat while getting the attention of everyone who still don't recognize them (aside from Klara). The pair jump and try to land on the boat but fall in the water. Both Kaminski and Leyla are then rescued when lifebuoy are thrown at them.

After coming out of the river, Kaminski and Leyla sit down in the street. Leyla asks Kaminski what to do now but Kaminski says that they did enough for now as they missed their opportunity. Seeing that Leyla is trembling, Kaminski asks her if she's feeling cold with the young woman saying it's due to the water. She remarks on how it didn't seem to affect her Captain that much with the young man saying the water is nowhere as cold as the Siberian toundra. The young man lends his arm to his accomplice to warm her up and reassures her that he will always take care of her. With a sinister smile, Kaminski says the time for games is over and that he will show the Flower Division how serious he could be.

Episode 8 : Nonstop Chaos! The Combat Revue Challenge![]

The next day, Kaminski goes to Leyla's room where the young woman wakes up from a dream. Kaminski tells her to get up and dress as today is the day her sister returns.

Kaminski and the Moscow Combat Revue meet up with the Flower Division for a live broadcast competition determining Klara's future. While confronting Sumire, the former actress accuses Kaminski of challenging the Flower Division knowing well that they cannot reject the challenge without their reputation suffering and partnerships breaking apart. After indirectly mocking the Flower Division for being in such a conundrum, Kaminski leaves the scene while telling Leyla that he leaves everything in her hands.

For the first round, Kaminski watches as Leyla faces Hatsuho Shinonome in a dance battle. Following Hatsuho's performance, Leyla then goes onstage for her performance while being watched by everyone including Kaminski who tells her to show them ''true beauty''. Even though Hatsuho's traditional Shinto dancing is dazzling, Leyla uses her ballerina skills to do the Black Swan dance in a sorrowful performance that grants her victory with 196 points.

Kaminski is in his loge when a joyful Leyla runs to see him. The young man praises her for winning the first round but immediately tells her to prepare for what lies ahead. The young woman slightly frowns while thinking that her performance didn't impress him as much as she wanted. Even though Leyla is slightly disappointed by Kaminski's response, the young woman decides to go along with his plan.

For the second round, Kaminski is set to face Azami Mochizuki in an obstacle scavenger hunt course. However, the young man does not show up much to the surprise of everyone. From his loge, Kaminski declares to understand that the members of his Revue are ''of dignity'' and thereby too refined to participate in something so uncouth. He also comments that he's granting a handicap to the Flower Division as a ''gift'' which infuriates Sumire.

After withdrawing, Kaminski is asked by Leyla if this is what he wants as such a move would not give the right impression on them. Kaminski tells her that the curtain is about to rise and that the last round will allow them to move forward with his ambitions. As Kaminski laughs, Leyla looks at her Captain with a worried look.

In the last round, which is a mock combat, Kaminski watches Leyla and the Moscow Combat Revue battles the Flower Division in a three vs three battle where the group that frees Klara from the top of the tower is declared the victor. After the battle begins, Leyla sends her two teammates after Hatsuho and Azami while she remains at her spot, which puzzles everyone.

After a few minutes, Kaminski tells Leyla that it's time for the bell to ring. The Captain of the Moscow Combat Revue uses his abilities to power up Leyla while also causing Klara's left eye to turn red. After a blackout hits the arena, Leyla makes her fallen teammates rise up from the ground while also powering their weapons, which are actually real. After incapacitating Hatsuho and Azami, the Moscow Combat Revue corners Sakura at the top of the tower.

Now that his true intentions are revealed, Kaminski leaves his loge while leaving another version of Black Cape behind to confront Clarissa Snowflake and Anastasia Palma who have been ordered by Sumire to stop him.

Meanwhile, Leyla's actions which resulted in Sakura falling from the top of the tower causes Klara to yell and shine in a bright white light that causes a huge explosion on the tower. Noticing Klara has finally awakened her true potential, an unhinged Kaminski declares Klara to be a ''messenger'' sent by God to destroy and create a new world. The young man laughs like a maniac as his plans have now taken a giant step forward.

Episode 9 : Unbelievable! The Truth About Klara![]

Following the events of the competition, Kaminski and the Moscow Combat Revue retreat to the Sevastopol and hide underwater. Inside the airship, Kaminski approaches Leyla and invites her to dance. While dancing, Kaminski demands Leyla to search for her sister Klara who flew away after awakening her powers. He refers to Klara as his angel and true ambition which will save this ''stagnant world'', a statement that sparks jealousy and sadness in the young woman. With a sorrowful face, Leyla asks her Captain if she's no longer worthy for him and that she offers herself to him. Fearing that Leyla is starting to doubt him and that her feelings might get in the way, Kaminski takes a blue crystal-like object out of his pocket and exposes it in front of Leyla. Unable to look away, Leyla is affected by the blue light and crouches down. Kaminski then orders Leyla again to track down his ''angel'' to which she agrees to with an ominous smile. Kaminski remains on the Sevastopol to wait for Leyla's return.

On the ground, while a demonized Leyla is confronting the Flower Division, Klara tells her older sister that she chooses to remain with Sakura and the Flower Division. As Klara reaches out to grab the hand of Sakura's Mugen, Kaminski uses the Sevastopol to launch an energy beam on the Flower Division causing a massive explosion. The attack seriously injures Sakura and makes her lose consciousness. A laughing Kaminski keeps firing on the Flower Division and orders Leyla to bring him his ''angel''. The black-winged girl grabs Klara and flies away.

Episode 10 : The Destruction of Tokyo? The Rage of Tunguska![]

After Leyla brought Klara into the Sevastopol, Kaminski enters the room where the two sisters were speaking to each other. Kaminski asks Klara to not be so hard on her older sister. The young man says Leyla that she doesn't fell too well and to come see him later for some ''adjustments''. Kaminski turns over to Klara and tells her that she has great power that is not without complications. The young man reminds Klara of the destruction in Petrograd and uses a blue crystal that enters Klara's chest and puts her into a deep sleep. As Kaminski takes Klara into his arms, a sad Leyla watches as Kaminski says that all of the players are at their proper place and that the finale act will begin.

After attaching an unconscious Klara to a crystal-like device, Kaminski hacks into every screen in the world to do a live broadcast. The young man says that the entire world has become corrupted and that he plans to rule it as the new supreme ruler of the world. He reveals that Klara is attached to the Rage of Tunguska, a cannon-like weapon, which he uses to wipe out a mountain near Tokyo in a matter of seconds. After demonstrating his powers, Kaminski gives all of the world governments an ultimatum : disband and recognize him as their supreme ruler or be destroyed. After ending his broadcast, Kaminski walks over to the Sevastopol window and declares it is time for his new world to start.

After Kaminski's live broadcast, the young man is approached by Leyla who asks him what should they do about the Flower Division who have just infiltrated the Sevastopol. Kaminski says that the proper answer will be to destroy Tokyo but that they will be no ''fun'' in that. Instead, Kaminski decides to send dozens of mechanical dolls against the Flower Division. As their opponents are fighting, Leyla and Kaminski watch over an unconscious Klara who is still attached to the Rage of Tunguska. As Kaminski describes how beautiful and powerful Klara is, he tells Leyla that she must be lucky to share blood with someone so significant. Upset by her captain's admiration of Klara, Leyla plainly agrees with his words.

Episode 11 : A Fantastic, Tragic Love! Leyla's Heart![]

Kaminski and Leyla confront the Flower Division who has come to rescue Klara. When Sakura tries to call out to Klara, the young girl wakes up and declares in a robotic voice that she will be the one to correct everything in the world much to her friends' concerns. Kaminski tells the Flower Division that he considers mankind to be selfish and corrupted. When Hatsuho spitefully asks Kaminski if he needs Klara to create his new world, the young man confirms that Klara will correct everything. Sakura answers back by saying that Natalia Ruzhkova didn't create the Nadezhda to bring destruction but to achieve coexistence between humans and demons. However, Kaminski says that Sakura knows nothing of the world.

Kaminski reveals that several years ago, he was almost killed by a blue crystal that fell from the heavens while transporting an angelic figure (who is revealed to be Hakushuu Murasame). Kaminski absorbed the blue crystal's powers becoming an immortal and obtaining incredible powers. As he traveled the world, Kaminski discovered how mankind was wicked, greedy, horrible and destructive which led him to beg God to save His creations from themselves. His prayers unanswered, he longed to create a new world to save humanity from itself but lacked the actual power to do so. One day, he found Leyla who was in her Nadezhda form near a river and called her ethereal and beautiful. From there, he infiltrated Natalia Ruzhkova's project and concluded that the Ruzhkova sisters, who he calls ''angels'', were the key to save and reform the world as humanity's new god.

When Sakura and the Flower Division reject Kaminski's comments as that of a delusional madman with a god complex, Anastasia fires at the machine holding Klara to free her but Kaminski blocks all of her bullets much to the girls' surprise. Kaminski tries to recruit the Flower Division to his side but is coldly rejected by the girls who are furious by his declarations. As a result, Kaminski threatens to destroy Tokyo but fails to do so as the Rage of Tunguska is destroyed by Hakushuu who arrives shortly after. Recognizing Hakushuu as the godly figure he saw in the past, Kaminski calls Hakushuu a ''false god'' and that her presence disgusts him. Hakushuu casually says that flattery will lead him nowhere. While the woman says they didn't have the pleasure to meet, Kaminski tells her that they have met before the day his life was changed. Hakushuu says that everyone tells her that before introducing herself as White Cape. After Kaminski says that Hakushuu keeps disappointing her, the vigilante asks him what will he do now that she has destroyed the Rage of Tunguska. Kaminski laughs while asking Hakushuu if she's forgot that he's God. Noticing a mysterious blue light around, Hakushuu realizes that the young man is rebuilding. Needing some time to fix the Rage of Tunguska, Kaminski orders Leyla to fight the Flower Division. During the battle, an upset Leyla tells Sakura how she met Kaminski, how she always tried to get his attention as he was the only person who ever called her beautiful and how she felt jealous of the attention Klara gets from him.

Leyla's declarations causes Sakura and her friends to show sympathy for Leyla. Kaminski, who heard Leyla's words, tells the young woman that he wishes she had told him before and that he will make up to it. The young man bows and apologizes. A touched Leyla turns over to Kaminski only to see him use a blue crystal in an attempt to brainwash her again. As Leyla groans in pain, Kaminski says that Leyla could rest easy knowing that he will ''cherish'' Klara in the same way he cherished her before telling her to die. As Leyla stands motionless, Kaminski and Sakura see the young woman declare that she will stop him. A shocked Kaminski asks how Leyla is able to move freely with the young woman saying that she overcame her brainwashing as her love for Klara is stronger than her loyalty towards Kaminski. Leyla says that she thought serving Kaminski will be enough but that she was wrong. An angry Kaminski says that he was wrong in thinking a creature like her could ever be an angel. Declaring that he no longer needs Leyla, Kaminski causes a wind blast that sends Leyla against the wall only for her to fall.

With his cannon repaired, Kaminski orders Klara to fire the Rage of Tunguska again as Hakushuu and the Flower Division moves in to stop him only to defend against blue energy shots. An injured Leyla stands up and flies towards Klara to rescue her. Kaminski says how much Leyla has disappointed her and fires an energy shot at her only to be blocked by Hakushuu. Leyla approaches Klara and calls out to her but is mortally wounded by Kaminski much to everyone's shock. Mortally injured, Leyla breaks all of the cannon cables and saves Klara as Kaminski desperately yells at her to stop. An explosion sends Leyla and an unconscious Klara on the ground.

After Klara wakes up, Leyla tells Klara to leave and go back to her new family as a massive fire appears and seemingly kills her. Kaminski cruelly mocks Leyla's sacrifice by saying that she could never have been an angel. Shocked at the sight of Leyla's supposed death and angered by Kaminski mocking her sister, Klara suffers an emotional breakdown and her powers begin to go out of control in front of her friends. Everyone could only stand still as a white light in the shape of angel wings engulfs the Sevastopol.

Episode 12 : The Grand Finale! Hope for Tomorrow![]

Following Klara's awakening, Kaminski looks at Klara's enraged form and casually comments on her beauty. He calls her the new form of God's angel. As an angry Klara stares at him, Kaminski tells her it's time to fufill her destiny as he takes out a blue crystal as an attempt to tame her. Sakura comes out of her Prototype Obu and tries to calm down Klara only for Kaminski to shoot energy beams at her which are blocked by Anastasia. The gunswoman fires at Kaminski who is then attacked by Hakushu. The young man is blocked by Hakushu and the Flower Division as Sakura approaches Klara. After a few minutes, the swordswoman succeeds in calming her friend. Furious, Kaminski charges at Klara but is blocked down by the girl who sends him against a wall. As the Flower Division faces the young man, Hakushu tells Kaminski his farce is over but he laughs by saying they have not realized the Sevastopol's true power. He reveals the ship can absorb the power of a demon.

Jumping away, Kaminski grabs two damaged cables from the Rage of Tunguska to transform himself into a semi-crystallized form. As Hakushu calls his new form an abomination, Kaminski calls her words shortsighted and reveals he will use the energy he drained from Klara to fuse himself with the Sevastopol while ''thanking'' Leyla and Klara for helping him achieve this. Kaminski fires at Sakura as she makes way to her Obu but is blocked by Clarissa's magic. With his new strength, Kaminski punches Clarissa's Mugen and fights back against Sakura and the Flower Division. After cornering Sakura in her Prototype Obu, Kaminski laughs and tries to kill Sakura only to learn that the Sevastopol is being attacked from outside by the other Combat Revues. Kaminski tries to prevent the Flower Division from escaping but is being stopped by Hakushu who tells the girls to leave. However, Kaminski escapes from Hakushu's view as the Sevastopol as the ship keeps being attacked. After a few minutes, the heavily damaged Sevastopol falls down in the ocean and explodes.

Unfortunately for the Combat Revues, Kaminski survives the explosion and fires back from underwater. To the surprise of everyone, Kaminski fuses with the Sevastopol to create a giant golem-like monster. With his new power, Kaminski calls himself God and tells his enemies to kneel down to him as the bells of the apocalypse have rung. Through the use of massive energy beams, Kaminski is able to overwhelm the Imperial Combat Revue and the other Revues. The Revues then start to attack in unison against Kaminski but are unable to withstand his attacks. Kaminski calls them foolish to challenge their God and that they are no match for him. Kaminski then starts making his way towards Tokyo with the Revues after him. As he keep walking, Kaminski creates a large number of magic circles which summons flying demons.

Having arrived in Tokyo, Kaminski charges a huge energy beam to destroy the city. However, Klara joins the battle and destroys every demon with the use of her new Tenjin. Kaminski mocks the alliance by commenting it doesn't matter how many of them they are to fight him. Kaminski prepares himself to destroy the city. The Revues keep attacking but Kaminski says that nothing that they do will harm him because of the barrier protecting him. Kaminski fires only for his attack to be blocked by Clarissa's magic wall. All the Revues unite and stand up to withstand the attack and send the attack back to Kaminski thanks to Hakushu's mysterious power. Kaminski angrily yells that his enemies will pay with their life. He runs to attack but is confronted by Sakura and Klara who have fused their Prototype Obu and Tenjin together.

Kaminski keeps firing energy beams but is surprised to see the two girls evenly match him. After catching the girls, Kaminski electrifies the girls in an attempt to kill them but suddenly, Leyla, who was engulfed earlier by fire, manifests herself as a spirit to embrace Kaminski from behind his back. A shocked Kaminski begs her to go away but Leyla tells him she loves her and drains his powers and immortality away. This allows Sakura and Klara to get closer and expose Kaminski. An angry Kaminski cannot understand why Sakura keeps trying to resist him and could not stop Sakura from stabbing him in the chest, killing him. Sakura calmly tells him that he was never God's chosen and that it's human to make mistakes in life and that his will cost him more. A broken Kaminski says that he's not human as his entire body dissolves into nothingness. With this, Kaminski's crusade in conquering the world is terminated for good.

Master Inventor : Kaminski is shown to have great skills in inventing machines such as Black Cape and mechanical dolls that obey him no matter what.

Energy Beam : Kaminski is able to fire blue energy beams at his opponents. After fusing with Sevastopol, Kaminski became able to fire massive energy beams at his enemies. The beam's power is so big that it took Clarissa's magic wall to be powered up by the Flower Division's support and Hakushu's power to send the attack back at Kaminski.

Summoning Magic : After transforming into his golem-like form, Kaminski gained the ability to create dozens of magic circles that could summon flying demons.

Immortality : After touching the crystallized rock that brought Hakushu on Earth, Kaminski became immortal which also allowed him to stop aging (or age slower at least). His immortality was absorbed away by Leyla's spirit in his final battle with the Combat Revues allowing Sakura Amamiya to kill him for good.

Equipment[]

Mechanical Dolls : Kaminski has a massive amount of mechanical dolls to his use which he employs to pose as Black Cape, the Moscow Combat Revue and as the director of the WLOF. His puppets are able to transform into giant golem-like demons.

Sevastopol : Kaminski's main mode of transportation. It is a huge airship that can fly, hide underwater and absorb the powers of a demon. After draining some of Klara's power, Kaminski is shown to fuse with the Sevastopol and turn himself into a giant golem-like monster.

Rage of Tunguska : A massive cannon that fires a blue energy beam. When powered by a Nadezhda, the Rage of Tunguska can vaporize an entire mountain in a matter of seconds. The cannon is named after the Tunguska event which is recorded as one of the largest impact events ever on Earth.

Blue Crystals : Kaminski can use blue crystal-like objects that have different effects on the Ruzhkova sisters such as obligating Leyla to obey him and putting Klara to sleep.

Trivia[]

  • Kaminski reveals that Hakushu fell from the sky aboard a meteor-like crystal which left a giant crater in a forest. This description likely refers to the Tunguska event, which was a massive explosion (likely caused by a meteor) that destroyed around 80 million trees in the Eastern Siberian Taiga on June 30, 1908 and became one of the largest impact events ever on Earth. The fact that Kaminski uses a cannon named after the event implies that Hakushu's arrival on Earth is actually the Tunguska event as depicted in the Sakura Wars universe.
    • This also confirms that Kaminski is older than what he looks as he was already a young adult when the Tunguska event happened in 1908 which is 33 years before the events of New Sakura Wars the Animation. This implies that Kaminski was born in the last years of the 19th century.
