Xiaolong Yang is the captain of the Shanghai Combat Revue's Wu Shenlong division.

Xiaolong is a young Chinese man with short brown hair and a long braid.
He's seen wearing a black Chinese shirt with a red dragon and green pants.

He became a member of the Shanghai Combat Revue alongside Yui Huang and came to Japan where they opened their own restaurant, the Shenlong restaurant. The Shanghai Combat Revue were apponted the protectors of Tokyo instead of the Imperial Combat Revue due to Operation Twin Capitals.

Chapter 1 : Winds of Change[]
Xiaolong first appears at the Tokyo train station where he rescues Seijuro Kamiyama, who just landed, from a Demon. Xiaolong destroys the Demon by punching it in the abdomen. After slaying the beast, Xiaolong leaves the scene.

Episode 8 : Nonstop Chaos! The Combat Revue Challenge![]
In 1941, Xiaolong and his Shanghai Combat Revue comrade Yui are in their restaurant watching the live competition between the Imperial Combat Revue and the Moscow Combat Revue.
Episode 10 : The Destruction of Tokyo? The Rage of Tunguska![]
Xiaolong and his Shanghai Combat Revue comrade Yui are in their restaurant watching Valery Kaminski's live worldwide broadcast as he destroys a mountain near Tokyo with the Rage of Tunguska, a massive cannon powered by a captured Klara's powers. After demonstrating his powers, Kaminski gives all of the world governments an ultimatum : disband and recognize him as their supreme ruler or be destroyed.
Episode 12 : The Grand Finale! Hope for Tomorrow![]
Following Valery Kaminski's death, Xiaolong is cooking food in his restaurant as Yui is attending guests outside.
Etymology[]
- Yang means "young, poplar" (楊).
- Xiaolong means "small, little, tiny, young, few, tabloid, bitty" (小) (xiao) and "imperial, dragon, serpent" (龍) (long).
Trivia[]
- Xiaolong is one of the two Combat Revue members to not have a single line of dialogue in Sakura Wars the Animation, the other being Margarethe.
